April Monthly Devotional: Pocketful of Prophecies

Hey, friend. What have you done with the prophetic word God has spoken over your life? It’s funny; my baby niece use to stuff her cute little mouth with food and while still chewing, she would place her hand out and say “more more”. Just like my adorable neice, many of us do this same exact thing with prophetic words. The only difference is we aren’t as cute as a 2 year old. In order to receive more, we first must finish what we are chewing. Many of us sit in church with excitement for a new prophetic word but are still sitting on last years.

Why aren’t you moving in purpose?  A majority of people believe they are fearful of failure when in reality, they fear success.  Failure is familiar but success requires a mind-shift, radical faith, and movement.  Success will place you in front of people you never met and boldness will have you move in God-given ideas.  “Our biggest fear is not that we are inadequte, but that we are powerful beyong measure”.

Its time to STOP reasoning everything and step out on the boldness and power God has given you. Its time to STOP waiting for all the supplies! The word of the lord says God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of POWER, LOVE and a SOUND mind. Think about Noah and his move of faith. He built a ship where land was completely dry; did he have every supply he wanted? Maybe not, but he MOVED. His success required him to see beyond what others could not. God has given you a dream beyond what others can see.

What is the Lord waiting for you to Finish?

If you haven’t accepted Jesus in your heart, and you would like to here’s a prayer you can pray and get connected to a local church.

Lord Jesus, for too long I’ve kept you out of my life.I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. No longer will I close the door when I hear you knocking. By faith, I gratefully receive your gift of salvation. I am ready to trust you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for coming to earth. I believe you are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Thank you for bearing my sins and giving me the gift of eternal life. I believe your words are true. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and be my Savior. Amen. This prayer is from Dr. Ray Pritchard found
